Hooyah Woodworks
A small studio in south Georgia.
Hooyah Woodworks is a one bench operation in Screven, Georgia. Every piece that leaves the studio is drawn, designed, built, finished, and signed by the same hands.
The studio started after the Navy. The name is the War Cry. What you say when something hard gets done. It stuck.
The work is commissioned hardwood: heirloom strategy boards, service plaques, engraved clocks, custom signs, and the kinds of pieces meant to mark something that matters. Most of what we build is made-to-order, in solid Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Walnut, or Oak, with engraving and inlay done by hand.
We take a small number of commissions at a time. Lead times are honest, proofs come before any cut is made, and every finished piece carries a maker's mark on the back.
If you're commissioning a piece, we'd rather build one well than three quickly.
Hooyah!
